Welcome to Muslims In America.org |
Collections & Stories of American Muslims inc. (CSAM) was created
in 1996 as a non-profit organization to establish an Islamic museum,
traveling exhibition, and archives in the United States. The exhibition
reflects America’s Islamic history and culture dating back to 1600's
and 1900's and more...
The Exhibit brings to life America's Islamic heritage with some eye
opening photographs. For example, in Memphis, at the Alex Haley Museum in
Henning Tennessee, there is a picture of Chicken
George, grandson of Kunta Kinte, dressed in Islamic style clothing.
Throughout the 1980's and 1990's we have seen much growth in the Muslim
community. Today there are many Muslims across the country that are
holding elected offices as local City Council members, State
representatives, a Mayor, and Judges. We find Muslims in every
profession today as Doctors, Lawyers, Teachers and others.
Today Islam is the fastest growing Religion in America and has now become the second largest religion in the United States.

We would like to introduce to you our organization and ask for your support for the opening of America’s Islamic Heritage Museum by Collections & Stories of American Muslims, Inc. (CSAM). CSAM a non-profit 501(c) 3 Islamic organization established in 1996.
CSAM is dedicated to the preservation, collection, and exhibitions of America’s rich Islamic Heritage.
Throughout the years we have developed over 70 panels of America’s Islamic history and artifacts for two powerful and insightful exhibits “Forgotten Roots: Muslims in Early America,” and “The Untold Story: Muslims in Early 20th Century America,” both of which have traveled around the United States and overseas to Bermuda, St Thomas, Nigeria, and Qatar.
We have had success over the years traveling the exhibits around the country to various Universities such as Harvard, Howard, Stanford, Rutgers, Howard University Hospital, University of Pittsburgh, University of Illinois Chicago, University of Florida, University of Illinois Urbana, US Embassy of Qatar, US Embassy of Nigeria, US Capitol Rayburn House Building, and programs for the US State Department’s International Guest Program. |
